Sometimes an idea tucks itself into the back of your mind, gently whispering, “I’ll be here when you’re ready and the time is right”. For Tina, that idea was owning a quilt store. Molly’s vision of becoming a shop owner blossomed through a combination of growing experience in the quilting (and knitting) realm as well as working part-time in quilt stores. As the years passed, those ideas began to whisper more urgently and both ladies knew the time had finally come to take a leap of faith and turn a dream into a reality…Cotton & Wool Co. was born.

Owned and operated by this mother/daughter duo, Cotton & Wool Co. is a small quilt and yarn shop located in south central Kansas. We provide the materials needed for quilters and yarn enthusiasts to ply their crafts. While we do not profess to be experts by any means, we do have many years of experience in quilting, sewing, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, and other handwork arts. Our goal is to continually grow in our knowledge and share tips and techniques with fellow makers of all skill levels. We truly delight in seeing and hearing about what others are crafting, and we strive to make every trip into our shop an enjoyable and helpful experience.
