Wells Shawl Workshop

Come join us to crochet this stunning Wells Shawl! This is an intermediate pattern, intended for individuals who already know very basic crochet stitches. Students will be guided through the pattern, new stitches, colorwork, and troubleshooting.

This workshop takes place on two Saturdays: January 20th and February 3rd from 2pm-3pm.

Fee: $40.00 - includes pattern!

Dates: 1/20 and 2/3 @ 2:00pm to 3:00pm.

Supplies:

  • Choose the fingering weight yarn you'd like whether it's Malabrigo Mechita, Steel Floozy's Classics, Red Door Fiber's Alpaca Silk, some luscious stash hanks, or a mix and match. You'll need 2 hanks each (100g / 420 yds) of a main color and of a contrasting color.

  • 4mm (G) hook

  • Tapestry Needle

intro to crochet

This is a series of 3 classes where students will learn basic crochet stitches (such as chain, single crochet, double crochet, and slip stitch), the magic loop technique, and how to read crochet patterns. Students will practice and familiarize themselves with crochet through various projects which entail making face rounds, a coaster, and a granny square.

Fee: $75.00 not including supplies.

Dates: 3/16, 3/23, and 3/30 @ 2:00-3:30pm

Supplies: 1 skein of worsted weight yarn, a US I-9 or J-10 crochet hook, split ring or locking stitch markers, and a tapestry needle.
